Today I attended a Stampin’ Up! gathering at Reading with other 50 other Demonstrators. It was so lovely to gather, craft, chat, catch up and be inspired by others.
During these events it’s usual for us to swap. We each create a card or small project in a quantity of our choice, then swap with each other. It brings the chance to exchange conversation with people we may not have met before, plus the opportunity to be reunited with our stamping friends that we have know for many years, such a valuable experience that we all enjoy.
Here’s some of my swaps, excuse the poor quality as I took these photographs last night when the light was not at it’s best!
I was blessed to have team members join me at this event and of course I created gifts for them.
As the Classic Wedding bundle has been a focus of mine this month, with its new launch into the Online Exclusives, I decided to repeat some of my designs to create some swaps. These were definitely a labour of love but quite honestly, in my opinion, if a jobs worth doing………..
When I create, I like to stretch my ideas across many projects, so my car colour and design remained the same from my “live” stamping session, in fact, I only swapped out the DSP from the card to use for my swaps. I stamped the outline in Memento Black and filled it in with Crumb Cake. I love that any additional colour will team great with this neutral.
Look at our happy little faces! We all had a wonderful day and I can report that my heart is full from spending time with fabulous friends. The Stampin’ community really is a great thing to be a part of and if you would like to know more about the opportunities and benefits of being part of my team, please do get in touch for a very informal chat.
