If you saw my recent Facebook Live you’ll have seen me create these projects using the NEW “Classic Wedding” stamps from Stampin’ Up!
The latest drop of Online Exclusives had lots of lovely products included, but I was very drawn to this set as I instantly saw Masculine card opportunities, and that is for sure something I struggle to create.
That gorgeous hand drawn car outline image, with the 2 Step Stampin’ addition of being able to ink up the stamp to add colour instantly, genius! The sweet elements of hearts, confetti and foliage teamed with some lovely sentiments in sweet fonts. I love the “Congratulations” one as it is so super tiny.
On first sight you will see that Wedding cards will be at the forefront of your mind, but look deeper, there is honestly so much more!
Here’s what I created for my recent Facebook live stamping session. These “lives” are completely FREE to watch and give you step by step instructions, with measurements to re-create my projects again and again. Of course your options are unlimited, swap out the colours, switch the stamps, use different papers and your projects will look so different to mine.
A sweet card suitable for lots of occasions, with a great sized gift box to house a small gift or sweet treat. I’ve used soft colours for these as I didn’t want to stamp and brightly coloured car, this being said, it would look FAB in lots of colours, my eyes just don’t agree with them when I create with them, I continually second guess my creations which is why you see mostly subtle colours in my palette! Very Kerry as some would say!
Back to my box, this one uses two sheets of cardstock, BUT I have re-created one very similar in size that uses just one sheet for the basics of the box. Of course I’ve added layers which are in addition to this.
I pulled out my Autumn to Remember stamps which are from our Scrapbooking Brochure (digital version only, not a printed publication until mid 2025).
I used Petal Pink for my box based, then layered with Crumb Cake and Basic White which I embossed with another Online Exclusives product, the Basics Embossing Folders trio pack.
I love how the “infill” stamp (the one that adds the instant colour) has a destinctive texture, not filling with a solid colour, so clever.
The dies cut out the main car image but then have fun accessories to compliment it, the window, bumper and other things such as hearts, flowers as shown and banner, all of which you will pull to for other projects too.
I used the NEW Gold Twisted Thread to my card, also an Online Exclusive product, then coloured some Rhinestone Gems with a gold sharpie pen, another tip for making the most of your products. The Ribbon is the Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon which teams well with the tones.
I love how the box turned out, you will see another version on my Video where I used a longer lid, but decided to changing it when I was re-creating it for the live.
To watch the creation process for both projects, take down my measurements and re-create in your own way, click on the link below to see how they came together. I’d love for you to like and subscribe to my Channel, all these little things help me to continue giving inspiration your way!
