This month I introduced “Coffee & Cards” at my Studio. Each second Tuesday moving forward I will open up the Studio doors and welcome people in for a brief stamping experience. Life is very stretched and I understand taking time for ourselves is often tricky, but at this session you can simply drop by, stay for an hour, create two sweet and simple cards then get back to your day!
These are the cards I created for this month’s session……
Here are the colours I used:
They are both pretty simple (well that’s debatable I guess, ha ha), a little die cutting and some fussy cutting, but nothing too taxing for the brain! I used the Choose Happy stamp set along with the Leaf Collection background stamp. I’m loving using the Leaf Collection stamp with Basic Beige ink to create backgrounds. A simple, subtle layer on which you can build upon.
You all know how much I love my “white space” but when you see a creation, you should always look at what YOU would do with it. So maybe you would change my base layer from Basic White to Boho Blue. It would give a whole different look to the card!
The Fun Patterns embossing folders are very usable, great that they work in the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine too!
I’ve coloured my birds and flowers from the Choose Happy stamps with our Stampin’ Blends. I used Crumb Cake Blends and Boho Blue Blends pens along with Soft Sea Foam. If you click on a product image below you can view them in my Online Shop.
I’ve used a gorgeous die set called “Unbounded Love“, oh so adorable! I think this is such a sweet set of dies with combinations that you can layer up, use with greetings and of course add foliage with those lovely intricate dies.
