With our NEW July-December Mini Catalogue about to launch, I’m not quite ready to embrace my Christmas projects just yet ha ha, but fear not, it won’t be long!!
I have pre-ordered some Christmas products for sure, but for now I will be using these sets to team with other NEW products for some “everyday” cards with nothing festive in sight. I know some of you begin your Christmas crafting in July but for those like myself who just aren’t quite ready, here’s some ways of using images from Christmas sets to use with your everyday occasion projects.
The first Christmas set I wanted to use was the “Handmade Wishes” and I chose this because it has a fabulous Punch that co-ordinates with it that is going to be so useful. Remember you have just one more day left to wait to see the NEW Mini Catalogue!

I designed these projects for my Facebook Live, two cards and a decorated gift box to hold the card with the satin bow, as it was a little too bulky for an envelope.
My colour combo of choice was Mint Macaron, Sweet Sorbet, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Suede and I love these together!
I have teamed my projects with Soft Succulent ribbon which works really well.

I adore the lined images in the Splendid Thoughts set, so crisp and of course I love the foliage images! The dies that co-ordinate with them are just divine, again some of them work with the stamped images but there are stand alone dies in this set that are stunning. Beautiful crisp “thin” die cuts that are great for layering with the stamped images. For the card above I used the “plant pot” die to create a scallop edge.
The Handmade Wishes set has some great “everyday” images that aren’t too seasonal. Loving the outline images that fit inside the Handmade Tag punch.

During the Live I also created a Tag to decorate my gift box. Watch the replay over on Youtube to see how I used the Handmade Tag punch to create the larger tag as it’s hard to explain in words how I achieved the pretty corners on this one!
For the second card I used the “flourish” image to border my card, inking it in Soft Suede and then layering foliage over it.

For this one I created a sentiment label by using a strip of Basic White cardstock and inserting into the Handmade Tag punch to achieve this. Again, watch the video to see this in action.
You can shop for all of the products I’ve used in my Online Shop, click on a product image below to be re-directed straight there. Remember that the Stamps, Dies and Punch are not available until 1st July, I will try to remember to update the product list once the Mini Catalogue is LIVE.
