As a Demonstrator we get to view the Annual Catalogue online, ahead of it’s launch. At that very first viewing I automatically fell in love with the Cup of Tea stamp set, just a few pages into the Catalogue. I was delighted to find that it was available to pre-order and of course it was top of my list!
With a stamp set like this one, we are often drawn to the large images on the cover and often overlook the smaller stamps within the set. As much as I love the Tea Cup images, I love the smaller flowers and foliage included.
For this week’s Facebook Live I wanted to use another NEW In Colour “Sweet Sorbet”. I teamed it with Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana and fell in love with this combination. I added in some Crumb Cake cardstock as a neutral to ground everything.
I’ve used a brand NEW stamp set called “Cup of Tea” which is so fun to create with. When you first see the cover, the Tea Cup images jump right out at you and I’ve loved stamping with them, but look at these flowers and foliage that are also included in the set.
I stamped flowers in Sweet Sorbet and Flirty Flamingo and die cut them out. I love that the die set contains two of this flower die making cutting much faster.
The leaves are stamped in Coastal Cabana. The “Thank You” greeting is also from this set.
I cut strips of Designer Series Paper from the NEW 2022-24 In Colour 6×6 pack in Sweet Sorbet to tie in with my flowers.
I’m using up my retiring embellishments and these Metallic Pearls worked great to team with the gold twine and embossed sentiment. The Metallic Pearls are still available to purchase at a lovely price of just £5.20, but hurry, the last chance sale ends on 2nd May.
I also added a tiny Butterly from the Brushed Brass Butterflies, these are so pretty and can be found in the Mini Catalogue and heading their way into the NEW Annual Catalogue next month.
The circles were die cut using the Beautiful Shapes die set, I love that we have a NEW stamp set coming that co-ordinates with it as I use it frequently.
I will definitely be using this colour combination again, I love how fresh it is and I’ve really enjoyed using the Sweet Sorbet In Colour. I will endeavour to find more great combinations to go with it!
