Using the Flowers from the Sweet as a Peach Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!

During last weeks Facebook Live “Stamp & Chat”, I created three cards, all using the Sweet as a Peach Bundle.

This set has so much to offer and as much as I love the “peach” images, I’m trying to get as much use from the other images in the set alongside them.

With my “Stamp & Chat” lives I aim to focus on two stamp sets each month, sharing as many different projects as possible so that you can gain lots of inspiration from them.

My first two cards used some of the new In Colours

• Fresh Freesia
• Evening Evergreen
• Soft Succulent

I also used Highland Heather ink with a sponge dauber to add a deeper shade to the centre of the flowers.

Both cards used exactly the same measurements to create the Z-fold except I moved the “band” from the top to the bottom for a different look and different placement of the sweet flowers from the Sweet as a Peach set. I love how “fresh” these cards turned out.

I embossed the left panel using one of the folders from the “Greenery” embossing folder set and on one card I used the In Colour Designer Series Paper in Fresh Freesia.

It’s hard to tell from my photographs but I stamped some of the teeny tiny flower and leaf images from the set onto the back Basic White layer, just to break up the whiteness a little, although I’m a huge fan of white space!

Here’s a closer look, hope you can see all the details! The centres of the flowers have the teeny tiny die cut flowers from the Peaches die set, cut out using Fresh Freesia cardstock, the same as the ink used to stamp the flowers.

I love how a fun fold card gives so much “wow” and this one doesn’t use much more cardstock than a general fold.

I held my first face to face event on Saturday at a local Hotel.
