Love a little Heat Embossing

Today’s card features a little heat embossing, don’t you just love how this simple technique creates such a WOW on your cards.  Every time I heat emboss I get the same reaction, it never fails me lol!

Rooted in Nature is a great allrounder set, perfect for the masculine cards we all struggle to create, yet it can be stretched to suit many occasions.  I was having a conversation at a class last week and we forget that not all females love frilly flowery cards, some like things a little more earthy and neutral.

I particularly love the trunk slice image in the set, a perfect backdrop for your greeting or you could simply add a little cluster of flowers or leaves over it.  I love that we offer a set of matching framelits dies to cut out all the tricky images, just perfect!

I’ve used my favourite colour of embossing powder, it’s called Copper and reminds me of Rose Gold, it teams perfectly with the new colour I’ve used Petal Pink which I’m loving too.
