Our patterned papers are very inspiring!

We have many different sets of Patterned Papers throughout our offering and currently, all standard 12×12″ packs in the Annual Catalogue have 15% OFF.

One thing I love about our patterned papers is that they are very inspiring, along with fact that they are pretty and gorgeous! The colour combinations within them are often a starting point when I begin designing. It’s not often I use large pieces of patterned papers on my projects, it’s usually a strip or slither and it most definitely depends on how strong the pattern is,

For my Boho Birdhouse Class this month, I included some of the Countryside Inn papers, I love the blue tones within the designs and the patterns are very sweet, not too overpowering. My Class consisted of four cards using the Country Birdhouse bundle. Here’s one of them…..

I teamed the papers with Boho Blue cardstock, along with Basic Beige and Crumb Cake which we used for the Birdhouse. The Timber 3D Embossing folder worked perfectly to add a lovely woodgrain finish to parts of the birdhouse. You all know that I adore the die cut flowers from this bundle and we used the Tinsel Gems to centre them.

We used Stampin’ Blends pens in Crumb Cake and Boho Blue to add colour to the stamped bird image. The foliage the bird is sitting on is from the Country Flowers set, die cut from Soft Sea Foam cardstock, these colours just work together so nicely.

Lots of layers going on with this card, nothing unusual there for me really! Buuttttt, honestly when you break it down, and strip it back, this card really isn’t that complicated! I hope that you might take some inspiration and give it a go for yourself.
