During my Stamp & Chat Facebook Live this week I created four projects using the Sophisticated Sled bundle. This adorable Christmas themed collection of stamps can be found over in the Online Exclusives section of my Online Shop.
I love the Sled, Skates and wreath images and the dies are just fabulous that co-ordinate with them.
For my Live this week I decided that I wanted to create some alternative projects that would be suitable for every day gifting, not for Christmas.
Here’s what I came up with during my first outing with this set…..
I created three cards and a gift bag, but today I will share the details on the gift bag and then follow up with the other projects in a later post.
Here’s a look at the stamps and what images are included in the set…..
The two main images to me that shout “I’m not just for Christmas” are the Wreath and Bow Spray. I put ink to stamp and created a card and gift bag using the wreath image. The die set includes a die for the wreath but also there’s a lovely “swag” of foliage so I used this to accompany my stamped wreath.
Here are the dies……
I used some Patterened Paper which is currently available at 15% OFF in our Designer Series Paper SALE. The Country Lace paper has some lovely colours included, Petal Pink, Misty Moonlight and Basic Beige. Our standard paper packs include 12 sheets of patterned paper of 12 x 12″, 6 double sided designs, 2 of each sheet. They are amazing value and with 15% OFF right now there’s no better time to stock up!!
My gift bag was pretty easy to create, you can watch the full process on my YouTube Replay.
I stamped my wreath in Mossy Meadow ink, then coloured with Soft Sea Foam and Fresh Freesia Blends pens, just a gentle amount of colour. I used the die to cut it out then die cut a bough from Mossy Meadow cardstock to place underneath it.
My flowers are die cut from the Country Flowers set, adore these sweet flower shapes and love that there are four flower dies in the set making cutting multiples faster.
My background was embossed using the Birch Wood embossing folder which is coming in the September/December mini catalogue, not long to wait for that one!!
I’ve used my gorgeous Greetings of the Season die set, honestly can’t put this one down right now!!
I pulled out my Everyday Greetings stamp set, another Online Exclusives purchase, a great all round set that you will use so many times I’m sure.
