This morning I popped up live in my Facebook page to share a sweet but simple card using some sneak peak products that will be landing in the online store next month. These will be in the Online Exclusives section of the website. These products are NOT featured in our Catalogue, you can only view them online.
As a Demonstrator there are many perks, being part of amazing community of creatives, gathering at corporate events, gathering with my team, friendships that blossom, permanent discounts on products, sneak peaks and getting to use the best quality products whenever I choose!
During June, I’m able to pre-order products ahead of their launch in July, I LOVE this option as it means I get to create some samples to share with you before they are live. When our pre-order began, there were several items I felt I just had to have, but I put on my business head and chose a couple of items that were top of my list to create with first. That being said, I’m sure my next order will contain another sneak peak product ha ha!
Charming Day, you jumped right out at me! Florals, just my style, yes I have other flower stamps, but these are just crying out for colour and the sentiments included within the designs are so lovely.
Next was the die set that accompanied it, a fabulous array of foliage, flowers that will be so useful for many different occasions.
For my Live stamping session, I wanted to create something simple. I had another project designed which was a little more involved, but after waking with a fuzzy head I chose to create just the one project this time. The second project will follow soon for sure!
Here’s the stamps and dies, can you see why I was instantly attracted to them!! Those beautiful flowers, with lots of foliage to colour in then dies that cut them out, with the addition of the stand alone dies, oh I’m in heaven!!
I added a pack of co-ordinating Patterned Paper to my order and I was so delighted to flick through the pack when I opened it, discovering the different colour combinations for each sheet. So many possibilities with this pack. I can see me using EVERY SINGLE SHEET in this pack, not something I can admit to with past purchases, as there’s always one that I’m not totally in love with!

Here’s what I created, a simple card (in my eyes) which I then “stepped up” a notch by adding in a foliage die cut! It’s quite remarkable that by just adding that foliage, how it steps it up and makes it pop.
This card requires simple steps to create, some dry embossing, some die cutting, some colouring, then layering it all up to create the finished card.
