I have to say, Spring is most likely my favourite Season we have here in the UK. Now I do have a liking to them all, each one brings something special, but there’s nothing quite like the tulips and daffodils popping up in the garden and the sight of greenery coming back on the trees, not to mention the nights beginning to draw out! Are you with me on this one?
With Spring in the air, it really brings that opportunity for me to add my favourite subtle colours back into my projects, stepping away from the red and green hues that we become absorbed with over the festive months.
For my Classes in person and online during April, this colour palette has had a heavy bearing with me, pastel greens and some pinks thrown in, just beautiful, hope you agree!

The projects feature a newish stamp set from the Scrapbooking Brochure “Everyday You & Me” then the Beautiful Butterflies set which is in our Mini catalogue, to accompany it. I didn’t purchase the dies to accompany the Everyday You & Me set YET, ha ha, but so far, as a fussy cutter, I’ve been enjoying snipping away at the flowers and leaves. For those of you who don’t enjoy this process that much, you can simply get the dies and create away with ease.
Here’s a closer look at one of the cards. All three feature the same images from the Everyday You & Me set, just arranged differently on the card base.

I really do enjoy white space, the subtle colours I’ve used, alongside the “pop” of Petunia Pop keep it looking fresh. That’ being said, if you purchase my PDF Tutorial for these cards, you can re-create them in any colour combination and use any stamped images you like.
My Vidoes, one for each project with an introductory one too, will keep you company for a while, and also mean that you can come back to them at any time and re-create something totally different to what you’ve made previously. These are attached to the PDF Tutorial, which is instantly downloadable when you check out from my website.
Here’s my colour combo…..
When I’m adding the flower images and leaves, I like to give them a little life by curling the edges and slightly squashing the flowers against the palm of my hand to crease them a little. This just helps give them a little 3D without adding Dimensionals.

If you’d like to have a go at creating these cards for yourself at home, you can purchase the Video Tutorial/PDF for just £8.00. There is another PDF that works alongside it to create some 3D projects and you can purchase them as a bundle and save a little.
