Our Mini Catalogue has just launched, if you’ve not seen it yet head to the Catalogues Tab at the top of my Blog to see the PDF version. If you have placed an order with me during the last six months you will receive a paper copy in the post or hand delivered for those who are local.
I’m loving the offering and have enjoyed creating festive projects during the Demonstrator pre-order period. My most favourite set of stamps by far is the Yuletide Village, it’s a stand alone set, meaning that it doesn’t have a set of co-ordinating dies.
I’ve loved creating with this set, it’s definitely one of those I just don’t want to put down!,,Here’s another upcoming class project using the Church image from the set….
I love colouring in and this set is just perfect for that. The sweet outline images of the houses, cottages and church are perfect if you find colouring therapeutic. I’ve chosen to use my Stampin’ Blends pens, I use them so often and we have many colour options to choose from.
Of course, there are other ways to add colour to stamped images but I love how easy and effective our Blends pens are. Do you have any, if so I’m sure you will agree.
Back to my card…..
The stamp set has a lovely “snow” image, which I’ve stamped using Pool Party ink onto a piece of basic white cardstock. I previously added colour to this layer with a blending brush, also in Pool Party ink.
My circle was die cut from the Spotlight on Nature die set, also coloured using my blending brush.
When I’m using my Blends pens it is advised to use Memento Black ink to reduce the amount of bleed between the pens and the outline of the image.
I’ve also used a NEW paper pack called “Take a Bow” for the slither I added to the bottom of my card.
You will see so much more from me with this set, it’s just way too cute to not give it the full attention it deserves!
