Time seems to have flown this last week, I never reach a moment of “hmmmmm what can I do?”, anyone else relate! My thoughts are more like “right, what do I NEED to do next” ha ha. I really do want to plan a little more time in for “me”, aside my little shopping trips to Ledbury of course!
When I sit to create, I have a sketch of projects in front of me and it’s very rare to just sit with a blank mind and come up with something out of the blue, that’s just how I like to work! I find without a sketch my productivity is much slower and this process just speeds up my crafting process. How do you begin a crafting session?
This little square lidded box is something I made some time ago and I had made it as a much deeper box previously. It’s been sitting gathering much dust in my studio and it’s such a sweet size I thought it would be nice to re-visit it, but change it’s size a little. I do love creating packaging, bags and boxes as they can house the simplest of gifts but mean so much more than the contents!
My idea for this is that it’s featuring in one of this month’s Online PDF Tutorial Classes, but as a box on it’s own, as beautiful as it is, is not much use ha ha, so I set to work designing some projects that would fit inside.
Here it is…..

It’s around about 4″ square, so quite a good size to fit things inside, but as I stated, I wanted it to have less depth as previous, so here’s what I came up with to go inside.
During a recent live stamping session I created some sweet little cards that would fit, really simple, quite sweet and using some newly released Sale-a-Bration products that you can earn this month for FREE when you place a qualifying order.
The dies I have used are shown below and come as part of a FREE bundle when you spend £110 on products. It’s called Heart Shaped and it’s really quite adorable.
I love the leafy heart die but the little flower die is my absolute favourite and I seem to be using it on almost everything I’m creating right now! Please tell me this happens to you, the fixation with certain products is honestly real and it’s hard to put certain things to one side!
The stamped leafy heart is beautiful too, and layered with die cuts of the same it looks so lovely. You all know I’m sure how much I love my greenery and foliage.

I recently shared this little Z-fold card during a live stamping session, you can catch the replay on YOUTUBE HERE and it’s a really sweet, easy to put together project that packs a wow. I love the possibilities that this project gives, it’s way more than just a card! There are more details on this in a previous post in January.
Those Antique Pearls, I really do love them so much and they work beautifully with the die cut flowers.

I’ve done some fussy cutting with my sentiment, which is from the Birthday Celebration stamp set and also from the gift with our Starter Kit this month which I’ve already featured in a previous post HERE.
If you’d like to know how to create this Box yourself, you can purchase the PDF Tutorial which has all the measurements, along with those for two other projects too, with Videos to show you step by step how they are created. The Tutorial costs just £8.00 and can be purchased as a bundle for £14 for the matching PDF that co-ordinates with it, saving you a couple of pounds when bought together.
Here’s the cards that go with that bundle….
