Hand-Penned Petals from Stampin’ Up!

I was instantly drawn to this Stamp/Die bundle, simple lined images just shouting out for colour to be added!

This month, for my Facebook Live Stamp & Chat sessions, I’ve made some changes. Each month I will focus on two stamp bundles and create projects with them during my “live” events, so you will see multiple creations and hopefully see lots of potential with them. Often when we see a stamp set in the Catalogue, we don’t have vision from the images included in the set, but when we see it inked up, it all changes from there! I know that when I see something created with a stamp set, it can totally change my view on it.

During my “lives” I’ve been focussing on the Hand Penned Designer Series Papers, choosing a sheet and replicating it’s colour combination for my projects.

Here I used a sheet of the DSP and created this colour combo:

• Pale Papaya
• Cinnamon Cider
• Pool Party
• Mint Macaron
• Garden Green

They are just so pretty and the colours used in each sheet are so inspiring!

For this card I showed how to use the largest image in the Hand-Penned Petals set to create a “border”. I love how you can easily colour in the images with the “in fill” stamps in the set, but how there is also the option to colour yourself with Stampin’ Blends, Watercolour Pencils, Aqua Painters, the choice is yours!
