I have thoroughly enjoyed crafting with the NEW Friends of the Forest stamp set, it’s super cute and my projects have a fresh feel to them, do you agree?
I am working my way through some gorgeous new offerings from the January-June Mini Catalogue and not knowing what to create with first, it’s been hard to choose!
As I had previously inked up the Friends of the Forest stamps and had some inked images sat on my desk, I chose to continue to create more with this set whilst it was fresh out of it’s case. I’ve also used another new stamp set called “Celebrating You”
Here’s what I came up with, a sweet card and treat package……..
After a previous discussion with Jason, I coloured the “Fox” so that it looked like a fox opposed to a Racoon ha ha! Aren’t the creatures just so cute in this set and I LOVE that the Deer Builder punch co-ordinates with this one.
Now can we please talk about the Tree! A lovely image that will get so much use, here I coloured it using my Stampin’ Blends but just think of the possibilities with it and fussy cutting it out wasn’t too challenging.
The “Timber” embossing folder is a new favourite of mine and I think it teams with this set perfectly, don’t you?
Our NEW doilies are fabulous, here I’ve used the reverse “white” side but on the other side you have a choice of three colours, Misty Moonlight, Basic Gray and Cinnamon Cider and great value too.
Now for the gift box, simple to create with a simple chocolate treat inside, love this type of gift! Oh so cute if I might say so!
