Morning everyone, hope you are having a great start to the weekend.
Today I am sharing a recent card from my 6 Card Club, at this class we create 6 simple but sweet cards for £10.
I’ve had the Garden in Bloom stamp set for a little while now but have only just got around to inking it up and I have to say I am in love with how pretty and simple it is!
It’s a 2 Step Stamp set which means we use more than one stamp, layering them to create our finished image, but what I love about this set is that you don’t have to stamp in 2 stages, you can just use the stamps individually and they work really well. The stamps are also not solid images so they have depth to them too.
Onto my card, as per usual, pretty subtle with my colours lol!
Here I used So Saffron, Tip Top Taupe and Whisper White
I inked up the outline of the flower first and stamped onto Whisper White card, then for the second part of the flower, the solid image, I inked it up in So Saffron them stamped it off onto my grid paper before lining up with my first outline image, this way I had some second generation colour making it paler so that the outline image was more defined.
I’ve used another favourite stamp set here called
Awesomely Artistic
Love, love, love this set, so pretty and delicate. The background flower, splats and label were all from this set.
