There’s nothing more exciting than the launch of a brand new catalogue, new products bring fresh ideas and spark something back into your creativity. Whether it’s a new Catalogue, products online, a new Kit, no matter what, having something new to create with is always exciting.
At first glance, you may think it’s crammed with lots of Christmas goodness, well, yes it is, buuuttttt, there’s also so much more, lots of autumnal products that work great for your masculine projects too.

I was torn on what to get first during the pre-order period and of course, chose what jumped out first.
The Peaceful Garden Suite was on my Wish List and I particularly loved the Stamps, the Dies, the co-ordinating Embossing Folder and the Patterned Papers.

So firstly, the papers, oh my, how beautiful they are! They have a couple of obvious Christmas designs, but the majority and be used for your everyday projects.
The colours, Misty Moonlight, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Crumb Cake with a little Pecan Pie peppered in, just the most lovely combination and so very inspiring!
This is a very reasonably priced bundle, just £36.75 for the Stamps & Dies, and the stamps offer sentiments for many occasions. The dies, well, just fabulous. The two “frames” layer upon each other and work so lovely alongside the embossing folder too. The Doves, the sweet envelopes, gorgeous stars plus foliage too, so lovely.
The embossing folder is most definitely not just for the festive season and you will see below that my first project using these things is far away from that!
So here’s what I created with my initial inking….

A little addition of the Extraordinary Flora stamps, they’ve been appearing on all my projects just lately, ha ha, and as I needed a Birthday card they worked really well amongst the foliage the Peaceful Greenery embossing folder offered.
My colours derived from an old project that I caught sight of on my camera roll, gee whizz, are you like me and hoard photo’s on your phone, it’s not healthy is it!! I have been decluttering of late, taking a 5 minute session to delete as many as I can bear in one go.
- Shaded Spruce
- Cloud Cover
- Basic White
You could easily add in a neutral to break up the white space, Crumb Cake or Basic Beige would work lovely.

I chose two words from the “Peace on Earth” stamps, very generic covering just what I needed as my words inside sent Birthday wishes to the recipient.
I’m loving this colour pair together. I used my Stampin’ Blends pens to colour in the flowers and foliage.

The sweet frame layered over the centre of the card is from another NEW die set, “Traditional Labels” and I just know that I am going to get soooo much use from this one. Again, these labels are featuring on most of my current projects as they are just so usable and great sizes, with lovely decorative edges to give an extra wow and offering more texture.
The stamps are great, look at all of those different sentiments, nice large images that can take centre focus.

I am very much enjoying the “Peaceful Garden” suite, I’m sure you can see why I like it so much. I’m super excited to be creating some Christmas projects with it very soon.
