I love the release of any NEW Catalogue, it brings new excitement to our creativity with fabulous fresh stamps, paper designs which inspire us to create with different colour combinations we may not have chosen and of course, lots of co-ordinating products that help our creativity flow easily!
After what seems like a long run of festive stamping, I’m always excited to pull out the fresh spring ink colours and get creating pretty things. Our Catalogues are always bursting with gorgeous products of course, after all, that’s what we do, buuutttt, it’s the inspiration inside them that gets our creative juices racing and the excitement to craft with brand new products brings so much joy!
I’m sure you know by now that being a Demonstrator brings lots of perks, one of those is being able to order things ahead of launch dates so that I can prepare samples to share with you when things become available to purchase.
When my first pre-order arrived I was excited to sit and create, here’s what I came up with…..
I’ve used two new stamp sets, one from the Mini Catalogue called “Birthday Celebration” which contains a selection of words with some sweet flowers, leaves and bunting. This set also has co-ordinating dies.
The other stamps I used are called “Pick a Season” and these are a Sale-a-Bration FREE gift choice when you place a qualifying order of £55 or more.
I was inspired by the colours in the “Wildflower Birthday paper pack” which is part of the same collection as the Birthday Celebration stamps…..
This pack of DSP is a speciality one, it has gold foiling on many of the sheets and this one includes a sheet that can be cut up to use on your projects as well as.
This card is part of an Online Class that is coming very soon. I have Heat Embossed some of the sentiments on my projects to add an enhance feel to the projects, this Technique is easy to do and adds something special to a project. You will need a Heat Tool, some Versamark Ink plus embossing powders to create this look. This technique also goes very well with the Patterned Papers in the collection.
You will see more about this Class in my Tutorials section of my Events Website HERE
In the meantime, if you are shopping for products with me, please make sure to use my latest Host Code when placing an order Online, sadly this little perk will be ending soon when Stampin’ Up! make changes to our rewards system, but don’t worry, there’s still going to be rewards, just in a different way, more about that nearer the time! If you are unsure of how to apply to Host Code to an Online order, please get in touch, it’s super easy.
Thank you for stopping by, hope to have you back soon!
