Have you seen the Celebrate Today Magnet Board Kit that’s currently available in our Kits Collection? If not, here it is…….
I love the idea of this Kit, the Magnet board is great for displaying your cards or using as a memo board, I’m sure we will all have so many different ways of using it! I love how you can change it’s theme whenever you feel, switch out the back drop with a different piece of DSP and change out the rest to co-ordinate.
I love the DSP pockets that you can create from the Kit and decided to make myself a template so that I can re-create them when I decide to change things on my Board.
For my Facebook Live this week I created a card and treat package using some of the cardstock stickers from the Kit, you can watch the Replay on YouTube, you will find the link down below.
My colour combination came from the Kit itself and includes Smoky Slate, Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride. I used one of the NEW Slimline Envelopes to create a treat package, adding layers of cardstock and the NEW All Together DSP that’s available as an early release product. I love the patterns, they are so usable and you can even add colour to the sheets that have more white space.
I also used the “Celebrating You” stamp set from the Jan-June Mini……. A fabulous set of greetings for so many occasions, a perfect addition to your stamping stash that you will pull out often.
By adding a couple of score lines to the Slimline Envelope, I folded it back onto itself adding a belly band. For this one I simply took one of our Gusseted Cellophane Bags, cut it shorter then added some Cadbury Mini Eggs inside, folding and sealing the top.
I added layers of Mint Macaron cardstock with a further layer of the All Together DSP and wrapped around a thin strip of Blushing Bride cardstock to hold the cello bag in place.
I cut a Tailor Made Tag and added some of the cardstock stickers from the Kit, layering them and adding my own greeting over the top. I took a flower and leaf, then used my embossing buddy to cover the adhesive side with powder so that they no longer were sticky. I used a wooden peg to attach this to the cello bag.
I popped one of the journal cards inside the envelope pouch to write a message on.
The card I created came together so fast, layers of cardstock, a little dry embossing using my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine then more of the cardstock stickers. Watch the video below for the full step by step instructions.
